Davra

In 1993, in the small town of Pakruojis in the Aukštaitija region, a private company called Davra, founded by V. Daujotas, was established on a privately owned property. Its main activities were beer production and retail trade. At that time, the Daujotas brewery produced a traditional farmhouse-style beer that was popular in the region.

The beer was brewed in wooden vats: one was used for malt saccharification, another for wort fermentation, with a total production capacity of up to 200 liters per day. The young beer was filtered into oak barrels and supplied to retailers in this form.

In 2005, the Daujotas brewery was reorganized into a private limited company and relocated to a new brewery facility situated on the scenic banks of the Kruoja River. Today, the Daujotas brewery has brought together a dedicated and responsible team that continuously strives to offer consumers only the highest-quality beer.
